Hush, Hush

Falling in love was never so easy . . .

For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment.

But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.


I really enjoyed this book. It had the dark, sexy edge that I always enjoy. Also, I love the creep factor - the way Patch acted enough off to really know something was different about him. Nora's friend Vee was the comedic relief in the story - always acting a bit too crazy and sexy and making you laugh consistently.

Becca had a great balance with this novel. Including lots of suspense mingled with sexual tension and humor. I'm excited to see what the published novel will change in the ending, because I wasn't quite satisfied. Although, there is another book to follow - so it's understandable.

Overall, amazing book. Kept thinking about it when I wasn't reading it - that's how good.

  5. Fantastic review! Are you going to interview the author? I think your author interviews are such great insight/make me want to read the books something fierce.

    I do think Patch is a weird name for a guy though, it odesn't really inspire bodice ripping in my mind :-P

    And the cover.. I'm a person that try not to judge a book by it's cover.. but this cover it's just amazing!
