The Espressologist

Jane is a cafe barista at a local chain of coffee shops. When she's bored at work, she writes down the type of drink each person orders and what type of person they are. One day, she has a brilliant idea.. some of these drinks go well today and so would the people! She starts matching up her customers and her workmates.
When she gets promoted to Assistant Manager, her match-matching (or espressology) is brought up to her Manager - thanks to her best friend Em. Instead of getting fired, her boss convinces her to do a 4 week promotion on Fridays of playing matchmaker. She's to become The Espressologist - "Get a little love with your latte". The question is, who is the right match for her?
I LOVED this book. I devoured it in about an hour. I squeeked, squealed, laughed, cried and went "awww" all during it. Seriously, I kept getting weird looks from the husband. He'll just have to get used to it I guess.
First off, the characters are great - varied and hilarious at times. The plot is fantastic, simple and sweet and with a few little love twists here and there. It's really the perfect book for a day where you need to be cheered up. I can definitely see re-reading this in the future when I need a pick-me-up. Definitely a must-read.
5/5 Roses.
